Santa Claus Village has no gate, so the question «what time does it open» really means «when is Santa in, when do the post office, Snowman World and the shops open, and what does each cost». Every company on the square sets its own calendar for the winter season, and most of them change hours three or four times between October and March. Shops
The design shops cluster on the main square and keep almost identical hours: Marimekko, Iittala and Pentik open 10:00 – 17:00 until mid-November, 10:00 – 18:00 to 6 December, 10:00 – 19:00 from 7 December to 3 January (24 December 10:00 – 16:00, 25 December 12:00 – 19:00) and 10:00 – 17:00 from 11 January. Lappi Shop (souvenirs, Lapland crafts) opens 10:00 – 18:00 all winter, the Marttiini knife shop 10:00 – 17:00 every day, and the Christmas House Shop keeps the longest hours on the square, 7:00 – 22:00.

Questions about hours and prices
What time does Santa Claus Village open?
The village itself is always open: it is a public square with no gate. Santa Claus Office opens at 8:00 in the Christmas weeks, 9:00 in late November and January, and 10:00 the rest of the year.
Is Santa Claus Village open on Christmas Day?
Yes. Santa Claus Office and Christmas House receive visitors on 24 and 25 December (Christmas House 8:00 – 22:00), the post office is open, and Snowman World runs 10:00 – 20:00 with a dinner sitting at 18:00 and 20:00. Some shops close on the 24th and 25th.
How much is the entrance ticket?
There is no entrance ticket for the village. Snowman World costs 35 € at the door or 37 € online, SantaPark 42 € per adult and 37 € per child.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes for Snowman World, SantaPark and the reindeer and husky rides, but between Christmas and New Year the slots sell out during the day; buying online the evening before is safer.
Are prices the same online and at the door?
Snowman World is 35 € at the door and 37 € on GetYourGuide, where the extra buys free cancellation up to 24 hours before. SantaPark charges a booking fee online in its own shop.
